North Dakota Beekeepers participate in a uniquely American check-off program called the N.D. Honey Promotion Fund. .10 per registered colony supports bee research, honey promotion, Ag in the Classroom, story creation and insertion into publications. Beekeepers should be proud of the 99% participation in the volunteer program, which is an example to every other state in the nation.
